Title: HARRIS & CLARK/E -Gravesend kent Fisherman and Waterman
Post by: susiee on Wednesday 05 November 25 00:02 GMT (UK)
I have been trying to untangle some  Gravesend  Kent  - HARRIS's.

Thomas HARRIS -  A   Fisherman   with  shares in  abt 4 boats /wherries
Will probated    in Gravesedn kent 1774
Wife --Ann
Son ---Thomas ( A  Thames Waterman )
Daughter----- Mary Harris had married James Clarke and   was a Fisherman and was to be  benefactor in  the WILL

---

The  Son
Thomas Harris ----- the   Thames   Waterman  had married Frances Luckhurst and 2 of their sons
were  Uniting Mnisters
Rev George HARRIS  -
First wife------ Mary Kay second Wife Charlotte Lacell

Rev William Harris
Married Susannah Link

--

Both Ministers sons   went to South Australia

They have been really tricky as so many THOMAS HARRIS

I believe the Clarkes  were also a  family of Thames Waterman and Fisherman /
Same  with the LUCKHURSTS -

Do they ring any bells

? ? ?
Susiee, it is not at all clear what information you are looking for.
You have posted a brief bit of information about multiple generations without dates or places.
Some more direction from you could save a lot of wasted time looking for information you already have.

Your thread here, seems to be about the same family.
