Hi
My 5 x Great-Grandmother was called Rebecca Taylor.
She was born in Wadhurst, East Sussex according to the 1851, 1861 census (1871 says Woodhurst, Sussex).
1851:

1861:

1871:

She married John Harvey in Canterbury, Kent on 13th November 1816, but as it's an early marriage no parents are listed.

They moved to Deal, Kent. She died in 1874.
Does anybody have access to Wadhurst baptisms c.1793-1800 to check for a baptism of Rebecca Taylor so that I can find her parents please?
Thanks,
Darin.

Sorry can't readily see any Rebecca Taylor baptisms either in Wadhurst, or in fact, in Sussex for the right time period.
However, Wadhurst is quite near the Kent border and I have found that there was quite a lot of movement between the villages in this area so don't rule out the baptism being in Kent.

Possibly something to investigate...
There's a baptism at Wadhurst, 13 February 1797, of a Rebecca Mitchell
Born 11 February
Parents Alexander + Elizabeth

Taylormitchel seems to have been written as one word, though I suppose it could have been meant to be Taylor Mitchel(l) :-\

They moved to Deal, Kent.
I see that John and Rebecca Harvey had a son Alexander baptised at Deal, 1 August 1819
