I told a friend that I would look into her family history for her. She is Spanish and finding anything seems to be a real struggle. I've tried looking on familysearch and myheritage as they seem to have more Spanish than ancestry.com. I found a little bit but not much. Most of her family are from Andalusia. Specifically: Carboneras, Almuñécar, Cullar, Baza and Estepona. She has one branch that she thinks came from Galicia. Does anyone have any tips on how I could proceed?
Her grandparents names are:
José García Escánez
Josefa Muñoz del Puerto
Manuel Mancebo Campoy
Rosa Expósito Díaz
I gather Campoy is a fairly unusual name.

Have you got any dates? And which family members came from which locality?
I expect you know that the first surname is the father's and the second surname is the mother's.
