Dear Rootschatters
My great-uncle Edward Letmon played for the Dublin Parnells GAA Team in the early 1900s-1910s.
For some reason he also went by the nickname of Toby Letmon.
I have plenty of old newspaper references to various games he took part in, but, despite extensive searching, I can find no photos of him in his football gear, either on his own or in a team line-up.
I would love to find such a picture of him, so if anyone knows where I might be able to locate one or more photos, please point me in the right direction.
All suggestions warmly welcomed!
Regards

Does the team still exist in any form? If so contacting them to see if they hold any old records could be worthwhile.
If they won something significant like a cup there might be a photograph of that with the team even if the individual names aren't mentined.
Hope you find something.

Hi Milliepede
Thank you for your reply. It looks like the club unfortunately went into liquidation in January this year.

Indeed it did.
