Wrexham Alderman
Alderman Robert Sauvage of Wrexham, died at his home in St. Anne's on Saturday, two days after his 87th birthday. An alderman of the Denbighshire County Council, to which he was elected many years ago, Mr. Sauvage had carried on business at Wrexham as a draper in partnership with his late brother, Mr. Thomas Sauvage, a former Mayor of the town. For more than 20 years he was chairman of the Wrexham Education Committee. He was also a justice of the peace for the borough.

SAUVAGE April 25. at St. Annes-on-Sea, aged 87 years, Alderman ROBERT SAUVAGE J. P, very dearly-loved husband of Christine E Sauvage of Gwylfa, Minera. (Freeman of the Borough of Wrexham.) Memorial service at Trinity Chapel, Wrexham, on Wednesday next, at 1.30 p.m.; interment at Borough Cemetery immediately afterwards.
