I have the basic marriage details of Henry to Hannah Greener in Hammonton, New Jersey in 1885 but wondered if anyone could find out who his father was please.
I believe he was born in Philadelphia around 1861. Hannah was born in Northumberland, England and I believe they came back here just after their second child was born in 1890. They are on the 1891 census living in Felling, Northumberland.
I would love to trace his life in America before he came to England.

				The second son was named
Nicholas Whitfield Greener Young 1893 reg. Tynemouth
Greener is his mother's maiden name, but what about Whitfield could that be his father Henry - mother's maiden name?
The daughter Violet Virginia Irving Young 1900.  Irving would be a surname, otherwise it's a male name .
Do any of these surnames fit your family?

Thanks for the article. Pity it didn't give more details. I would presume I need to find the original certificate to see if it names parents.

I've been trying to locate the family on the 1870 census but cannot find them. Just wondering if anyone else could locate them.
