Possibly John Thomas James is my best effort.

Do you know who Ethel Sanderson married in case he was her beau?

Following that theory there is a John Thomas Nunn and Ethel Sanderson on the same page for a marriage in 1907 Dewsbury.

Could be barking up the wrong tree but you never know.

They do pair up as bride and groom.  She was 23 a weaver father George deceased coachman if that matches at all.

Actually think it does.  Same church and I think same residence Nelson St? for Ethel and your bride.

Good thinking Milliepede, I didn’t think of that not having access to the  Parish Record.
