My GGM's half sister Jane Berwick was born in Newton Longville in 1834. Her mother Martha Harris died in 1838 and her father James Berwick in 1850.
Jane was with her HArris grandparents in 1841 and lodging at Mount Street, Dunstable in 1851, a straw bonnet maker.
I can't locate her thereafter

Thanks both. The missing marriage entry explains why I hadn;t spotted her in the later census. The GRO index for Martha's birth confirms the surname. And the son was Frederick Charles Berwick Green

Like others I cannot find any evidence of either Jane or James having previously marrying. James however did remarry after Jane's death. He married Kate Elizabeth Stapleton in 1878 Leicestershire (image on FindMyPast). Names his father as William Green.

Thanks Tazzie.
It seems strange that Jane got married in Kent in 1854 when she was still in Bedfordshire in 1851. I see that the two witnesses to the wedding were Harris so perhaps she had moved to live with relatives.
It seems that James' second wife Kate was from Aspley Guise with the family living in St Pancras in 1891 with their 4 children. William the eldest being born in Woburn in 1880. However, I cannot find the family in the 1881 census nor see any sign of Jane's son Frederick after the 1871 census
