Hi there,
I have come across an 1870 census record for my G G Grandfather Jens Prebensen. I am familar with the village he lived: Randbøl Sogn (Randbøl) in Denmark.
I was wondering if anyone could help provide me with his residential address: Engelsholm Fabrik Arbeids Bolig
Any help would be wonderful,
Warmest regards,
Ashley

Out of interest I just checked this on Google Translate and the result was Engelsholm Factory Work Housing?

So, housing for factory workers? From memory, the father was a weaver.

The factory was located in the village of Randbøldal and had housing for its workers. To pinpoint the exact location of your GG Grandfather is a mission impossible I fear. You would have to search in the the archives of the factory itself to find the exact spot (and the house probably won't exist anymore today).
On Google maps you can find the location of the factory (Det Hvide Palæ).

Thank you Zefiro :) very awesome. So reading about Det Hvide Palæ - my G G greatfather was a weaver who produced textile for the manufacture of clothing? Am I correct thinking that? And may have left when the factory sold (he shifted to Horsens).
