From the South Australia Deaths Index 1842-1972, I have found these details of Sarah Ann’s death;
First name(s) Sarah Ann Last name Rogers
Gender Female Status Married Birth year 1826 Death year 1867 Death date 7 Jun 1867 Age at death 41 Residence Crafers Place Crafers District Adelaide State South Australia Registration number 27/391 Informant Husband Informant's name W Rogers.
I live in England & have no idea of how to track down her burial place in South Australia, so any help or suggestions from local family historians would be hugely appreciated, can anyone help with this?

Hi. I have had no luck finding Sarah's burial place
There are trees on Ancestry which record her husband William Rogers, he died 22.6.1899 at Crafers. appears he remarried 2nd wife Elizabeth.

Hi Cass,
Thanks for reply & the information on William & Elizabeth. Looks as though this might be a tough nut to crack.
I find it odd that Elizabeth was buried at Balhannah cemetery and William was buried at Stirling cemetery, I would have expected them to be in the same grave. This makes me wonder whether William was buried with Sarah Ann & that she is therefore in Stirling cemetery?
A quick check on Google maps told me that Crafers to Stirling is 1.7 km & Stirling to Balhannah is
14.4 km. Did Elizabeth have any connection to Balhannah?
Any thoughts on this?

No Thoughts on Sarah, From FAG it seems that Elizabeth buried in same Cemetery as first husband'
Joseph William Gauntley
good luck

Thanks Cass,
So if Elizabeth is buried in the same cemetery as her 1st husband the same might apply to William & Sarah Ann.
I'll try next to track down Stirling cemetery records.

From Google search:
Stirling Cemetery is located at Strathalbyn Road, Bridgewater. It is situated on 7.54 hectares of land and was established in 1879.
So Sarah Anne could not be buried there.
