Title: Discharged unfit
Post by: SmallTownGirl on Tuesday 16 September 25 17:48 BST (UK)
Can anyone help me with the two words above "unfit", please as the reason for this soldier's discharge from the army four days after enlisting for WW1.

Many thanks

Well, I wouldn't have got that in a million years.

Thanks so much Shaun.

I was surprised to see hammer toes, as I was expecting to see "flat feet".

Hammer toes are far more painful than flat feet  as I know to my cost.  Neuropathy has turned my  straight toes into hammer toes.
