On the 1921 census a new unknown person has turned up that I can't find any record of.
All the people listed lived together in Wendover Buckinghamshire
William Powell 41 ,9 months
Hannah (Annie) Powell 40 ,7months
Alfred Powell 17 ,2 months ,my grandfather
Alice Powell 15 ,3 months
James Powell11 ,4 months
Shan Powell 9 2months
I believe Shan is John Powell but curiously on the census it states both James and Shan are listed as orphans but both parents are alive ,any ideas would be appreciated

What was Hannah's maiden name?
if Shan was b 1912 free bmd should show mmn.
Freebmd shows a John Powell mmn Woodley b 1912 Wycombe
Have you viewed the actual 1921 image?

Both younger children are entered relationships as Son. The column for marriage or orphanood reads" if children are under 15 then enter Both Alive."
None of the older children have this.
It's also in a different colour so perhaps a correction by another person.
Look at census entries a couple of pages later, they have the same correction in same hand.
