there was also a marriage in Braddan 3 Nov 1685 of Margt Mallereigh to Robt Joyner

Brondal is noted aginst burial of a David MOLLEYRETY Lonan 20 Mar 1733/4

Brondal might be Brundal or Brandall in other records

Robert, I have written fairly extensively about David Mallerey & Margaret Cowen in a narrative entitled Fathers & Sons; One Mylroie Clan.  It is on my website - mylrea.com.au.  I tend not to visit Rootsweb very often (a friend sent me a link to your entry last night) so if you wish to go further, can you do so to my email address dibanks@bigpond.net.au, please?

I am now trying to find info about John Mylroie, born 1724 and died 1798. He had a son named THomas. John was buried in LOnan churchyard.

To my knowledge there was never a son named Thomas John, although there were sons named Thomas who matches your description.  The older son John died in his teens.  Di Banks

I seem to have lost my earlier reply, fiddling about between Family Tree Maker & the mylrea website.  The story of John about whom you are enquiring is written up in the narrative FATHERS & SONS: One Mylrea Clan (Lonan) on mylrea.com.au. Di Banks
