Title: Thomas Gadney of Wytham
Post by: TomGad on Saturday 30 August 25 17:17 BST (UK)
Can anybody find any info on Thomas Gadney of Wytham. All I have is a death date and location, April 9th 1611 at Wytham, Oxfordshire. He had a son John Gadney but I don’t believe he had any more. I do not know who Thomas Wife/Johns Mum is. Can anybody help me possibly find a birth or marriage for Thomas? Much appreciated.

Hi There,

Thank you for the response, I believe the Thomas who was Buried 1611 is the father of John who married Bridgett. I cannot find a Birth for John to determine who his mother is. I cannot find anything on John’s father either hence my post here. Do you think that you can help me please?

Hi,
I can't find any more info other than those I listed earlier. In the transcripts it states "a page is missing for entries for 1581-1588"  so its possible the Gadney/Hughes entries may have been lost (if there were any)
Wytham is only a few miles N.W of Oxford so it's possible they came from that area.

Sorry I can't offer any info.

Does John and Bridgett’s marriage say where Bridgett is from?
