I have tried and failed to track down the second person listed in this entry from the 1911 census. I don't think it's Lewis Lary (doesn't seem to exist), could be Lewis Levi or Levy, of whom there were many born in Aldgate and nearby. Can anyone help? I'll say in advance, I'm not optimistic!
PS described himself as a part time student

Have you tried finding him on the 1901? What is his connection to you?

There is a Louis Levy 8 yrs with parents John and Jane at 1901 262 /60/30.
The civil parish is St Botolph without, Aldgate

He is not with his family in 1911 but he is back in 1921 and is a Musical Director.

Thank you both for replying.
I'm interested in Frank Bevan, with whom Lewis was living in 1911. Bevan is one of a number of First World War officers I am researching.
I must say, Lewis Levy looks a strong possibility, thank you!

Frank Bevan was born 1874 son of William James Butler Bevan and Marian Florence Harris

I know lots about Frank, thank you! I'm just trying to understand about Lewis.

only connection to a lewis levy I can see that may be is perhaps through the Harris line there are levy and harris marriages so you may be able to connect theDo you think perhaps lewis may just have been a student of Frank Bevans 1911 is only census they are together a difficult mystery ;D
