Looking for the grave of GEORGE WILLIAM WILSON died last quarter of 1930 aged 71. He lived in Swinton near Rotherham and his local Church would have been St Margaret's Swinton. Thank-you.

Not sure if your man but several pieces in the newspapers about a George William Wilson resident/born Swinton.
Died aged 71 of 40 Dale Street, Rawmarsh.
Lots of mentions of his sporting prowess. Sheffield Daily Telegraph 21st Oct 1930 mentions "the funeral takes place this afternoon at Hough Road Cemetery, Rawmarsh."
One article mentions people at his funeral

You will see from the register that the correct spelling is Haugh Road (pronounced Hawf).
ADDED: Swinton & Rawmarsh are adjoining parishes. Rawmarsh adjoins Rotherham.
The register says Removed from Rotherham Parish, which suggests he had been in hospital there. At this date possibly the workhouse infirmary, address usually given as Alma Road.
