Hello I’m looking for information into the parents of the following children
Edward Lloyd baptism 16 Nov 1831
John Lloyd baptism 22 Nov 1835 both baptised in Newton Montgomery. Parents Edward and Elizabeth
A friend wants to find more information into the parents being edward and Elizabeth - there’s only two boys from this marriage
Struggling to find a marriage between them and baptism records or any information is much appreciated

Your first starting point should be the 1841/1851 census - have you looked for them?
Where do they fit into your friends FH? You say there were "only 2 boys from the marriage"
Who were the females - when were they born - are they found on the 1841 census?
If Edward & John are not on the 1841 with the rest of the family - you would have to consider they may have died in infancy

There is a tree on Family Search site that states ???
Edward Lloyd DoB 1798
Elizabeth DoB 1802
No source so nothing to confirm (Edit) and maybe too old if 1st child born c1831(if baptised soon after birth) Elizabeth would have been 29 ???Sorry???

On both children's baptism record, their father, Edward, is noted as being a 'hattier.'
This lines up with this 1841 census:

With Edward having the same occupation when looking at the image.
The family is still in Newtown in 1851:

He is born c.1798 in Berriew, Montgomeryshire. Elizabeth is born c.1802 in Newtown.

Was about to suggest this. William, Edward and Elizabeth's youngest son on the census, was born in post-civil registration c.1842, and here are the possible birth certificates for him +/- 2 years in Newtown:
LLOYD, WILLIAM MORGANS
GRO Reference: 1842 M Quarter in NEWTOWN AND LLANIDLOES Volume 27 Page 141
LLOYD, WILLIAM SIER
GRO Reference: 1843 J Quarter in NEWTOWN AND LLANIDLOES Volume 27 Page 140
