i am researching the drowning and rescue of a european man by lascars, Tafezwoody and Abdul Hozee on SS MATIANA on 30th march 1903. any local newspaper clippings from Aden itself would be most useful in identifying the European man. i already got two clippings from "The Daily News" at calcutta and Civil and Military Gazette from Lahore but neither mention the name of the unfortunate man. i've checked the passenger lists too (with help from this forum) but couldnt gather much.
