Is there anywhere that lists reserve soldiers please?
From the 1939 register I have Frederick A NEAL disabled soldier nat reserve (London 32573 Woolwich).
I know he had an industrial accident that left him severely disabled and unable to work, and that was some time before the war, but I haven't found any newspaper articles about it. He worked for Western Electrical Co in North Woolwich as a cable worker in the 1921 census. This was before his accident.
He was living in Plumstead (31 St James Place), then bought a house with his compensation. 38 Sycamore Ave, Chislehurst and Sidcup, in the 1939 register.
Born Jan 1881 in Woolwich and died 1965.
I wonder if the any listing of those reserve soldiers would shed more light on his situation? I don't know if 32573 is his number or that of the reserve he was attached to.

6 Kirk Lane, Newham, Woolwich in 1929 and 1933 electoral register with wife Eva.
38 Sycamore Ave, Chislehurst in 1936 electoral register, so the accident must have been before then.

His wife fought the company for compensation, or for improved compensation, so I think it must have gone to court.
