'Im looking for information regarding the service of a Seaforth Highlander who was seconded to the West African Frontier Force as an NCO/Instructor in 1917.
I have his Seaforth Highlanders service records but there is no record of his time in Africa. His time in Africa began in 1917 and we only know this from family records (photos etc).

Where would I start in finding any military records for his time in Africa?

He is probably one of several Seaforths seconded to the WAFF around this time ...... another is 265426 SJT G.DIXON MM 1/6 SEAFORTH T.F.  May I suggest a name may help?
