We are working on a database of mine fatalities here in Blackball, New Zealand.
Ernest Rouse died on the 25th Oct 1908 in a mine collapse.
All that is known is he was 30 and came from Adamstown, NSW.
I need to eliminate, or confirm that he is in fact the Ernest Rowse born in NSW Lambton to Joseph Rouse /Rowse and Jane Viol in 1877 17378.
Hopefully some knows what happened to this Ernest.
We would love to connect our Ernest with home.
As with a lot of these mining deaths the informant was his crib mate, so no information for the death certificate
Hopefully...
