Title: Lytleton 1575
Post by: emjsw on Wednesday 13 August 25 13:19 BST (UK)
Hi,
I have been looking at Thomas Busby's 1575 will from St Giles Cripplegate. In it he mentions his cousins living in Lytleton, Bedds on pg 2.

I have tried to find this place on modern maps but can't find it. I just wondered if any one had come across this name and knows what the place is now called please?

Many thanks in advance,
Best wishes,
Emma

I think it could be Lidlington. See the Victoria County History https://www.british-history.ac.uk/vch/beds/vol3/pp305-307 (https://www.british-history.ac.uk/vch/beds/vol3/pp305-307)
