Looking for a real "Needle In A Haystack" In a report in the Spalding gazette from 1928, it states that Miss jennie Kellett of Prudhoe Northumberland married Wilfred Oscar Squire of Bollingboro Lincolnshie.
I have established that Jennie Kellett was born in 1905 and died in 1931 but nowhere can i find any reference to her living in Prudhoe. can anyone assist please ?.

No birth in 1905. Married as Jennie - died as Jenny
When you say you have “established she was born in 1905” - is that because she was 26 when she died or have you found a birth for her?
Have you found her on the 1911 or 1921 censuses?
What is her fathers name on the marriage cert?

Kellett Jennie born 1900 N. Bierley 9b 174?? Not sure she's your :(
-
One child b 1930 - mmn Kellett
She may have been living in Prudhoe prior to her marriage. Jenny can sometimes be a corruption of Jane or Janet
-
A tree on Ancestry has her b 1900 Bradford but nothing to support it.
The birth in Bradford appears to have married in 1924 to Frederick Wrigglesworth & is on the 1939 register
-
was she a nurse prior to her marriage, hence she was working in Prudhoe

You need a copy of the marriage certificate to see who she named as her father.
The article says she was given away by the grooms father, no mention is made of her parents or other family members.

It's all very tenuous, trying to help a correspondent but all I can find is the newspaper report of Jennie Kellet's wedding. There are lots of people of that name in the kenndal and Preston areas but none that I can find in Northumberland.

Buy the marriage cert to see if she named a father. If she was illegitimate she may not have been born as Kellett but may have taken a stepfathers surname
All supposition at the moment
1911 has a Jenney Kelt b Chopwell Durham - father Edward

Jenny was burned to death according to the papers :(
Lincolnshire Standard & Boston Guardian, 31 October 1931, page 10.
She was the domestic servant of a Miss L Bennett who lived at 8 High Street, Spalding. Article says Jenny was 27 years old.
