Hi,
Wondering, please, if anyone can help decipher where John Smith stayed in Aberdeen?
The attached extract is from the Old Parish Baptism records of Old Machar Parish in 1781 -
Third line down - Smith - John Smith in ?????????? had Lewis bapts on 9th.
It looks very much like the same place as William Glennie on the first line - but I can't work that one out either.
Hoping maybe local knowledge might come up trumps.
Thank you.
Looby :)

It's "in ye Wind Mill Brea". In terms of the city today, Windmill Brae runs from the Green up to Crown Street. It is the same place as in the first entry.
Here it is on a 1789 map: https://maps.nls.uk/view/74400007 Go south from the Church Yard with the drawing of St Nicholas Kirk in it until you come to the Green, then you can follow Windmill Brae as it runs west.
