Hi all
Just found this in my Kindle recommendations on Amazon for £0!
Not sure if it's already been posted.
The Oxford Dictionary of Family Names in Britain and Ireland
1st Edition
I think it is usually prohibitively expensive
-
Doesn't appear to be very useful?
Entry for my surname:
Garrad
...........................................................
• Current frequencies: GB 655, Ireland 7
• GB frequency 1881: 510
• Main GB location 1881: Middx and Essex
English: see Garrett
Free PDF download if you Google the book's title. :D

You are just unfortunate KG, my family name has a full column of information. I also found it available to view without downloading on the link you have given.

I think the offer has been around for a while. I've had it on my kindle device for a few years.

Its a beast of a book and far easier to search and read on a PC type screen rather than a phone
