Title: Djalma Smith, trying to find his marriage.
Post by: gracol on Tuesday 29 July 25 20:49 BST (UK)
In the 1891 census he was 22,single and living in Chatham.
The 1901 census ,he is still in Chatham with his wife Alice and a 7 year old daughter ,so maybe married around 1894.
From later records his wifes first names were Alice Maude.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Very many thanks for your replies.
A bit puzzled by the "Royal Navy Registers of Seamans Services",it shows his service as being from 1887 to 1908,yet the 1891 and 1901 censuses no indication of this.During this time would he have been a reservist subject to call up?
