Can yous help with my 3rd great gran .Name and surname of mother of Robert Connolly please .

The first letter of the surname looks like the G in Gourock and it ends in ley but that middle part is more difficult - could be Gourley/Grimley or something else

I think your best bet would be to go back to the record image on Scotlands People and use the "Report Issue" link  to tell SP that you are unable to decipher the writing. They are likely to re-scan and provide a more readable image or at the very least tell you what it says

You asked for Name and Surname.  The first name is Susan, compare the S with Shore Street in the first column.

believe this is Robert in 1901 with a possible brother.

Robert Conolly 24 Boarder  born Ireland
John William Conolly   26   Boarder  born Ireland.         Incorrect

That wonderful law S*ds has Roberts death in 1952 naming his father as Hugh and nothing for mother.

So looking for an Irish birth c 1878 of a Robert with parents Hugh & Susan
