Title: Sarah Dymock
Post by: mentmore on Monday 28 July 25 23:42 BST (UK)

In 1826/7 Sarah Dymock Single Woman of Leighton Buzzard was pregnant with child.

Does anyone know if Sarah had the child and what happened to the baby and herself. The father's name was Varney of Buckinghamshire.

A long shot I know, but maybe someone has some information.

Thank you.

How do you know she was pregnant if you don't know whether she had a child & how do you know the father was "Varney"

How do you know Varney was from Bucks?

Carole,

I know, because I have copies of the Bastardy Certificate.

Thanks

I thought there had to be a living child for there to be a Bastardy cert?

Whatever, I have two certs. one dated 1826 and other dated1827  stating that John Varney was the father.
