I am looking for information concerning the above who lived at 27 Sunnydale Shildon in 1949.
He served with 10 DLI in WW2 and was awarded a Military Medal for bravery on 18 June 1944.
Any information welcome especially especially his date of death would be welcome and especially a photograph of him.
Many thanks for looking

Just checking, was his surname actually HiMdmarch or should that read HiNdmarch?

Hindmarch Thomas William is the correct spelling my apologies
There
Was some confusion as to the spelling of his surname. In the citation for his MM his name is spelt Hindmach while his own application for WW2 medals, his name is Thomas William Hindmarch.
His M M is correctly named Hindmarch.

Just in case you don't already have it, the record of his actions that resulted in the award of the M.M. are available to download (free) from the National Archives. Though the surname is given as HINDMACH the service no and regiment are correct

There is also a German Record Card of POWs which is not yet digitised so not available for download but can be seen at the NA
