Hi there!
I am seeking information on James Connolly from Enniscorthy, County Wexford. He married Mary Mckillop in 1949. She passed away on the 13th November 2019. I am not sure about much else but I think they resided there most if not all of the time. I am looking for any information at all.
Thank you!

There is a birth record for a James Connolly - 1927 which could be him. You would have to send for the certificate though.

Their marriage

He’s 22 so the 1927 birth looks good.
Her death notice on RIP.ie gives a formally address of Saint Aidan’s Villas Enniscorthy. James died before her.

Marriage of James' parents in 1919 - Thomas Connolly and Catherine Williams.

There is only one marriage of a Thomas Connolly in Enniscorthy SRD in the relevant period, so no ambiguity. Also, the address for Thomas matches that for James in 1949 - Drumgold.

A note on the Catholic parish register for the 1879 marriage of William Williams (with a different date of 17/11/1879, per transcript) states he was in possession of a license from the bishop. As I can see no baptism for him in Enniscorthy, I suspect he was of a different denomination.

You may wish to look at a RootsIreland subscription. They have Enniscorthy baptisms and marriages 1794-1900 transcribed. That is better coverage than what is available elsewhere.
