Post by: Pinetree on Saturday 19 July 25 11:46 BST (UK)
Can anyone help to decipher the mother’s maiden name for entry 97 on the attached page of birth registrations. Child Mary Anne Meagher.

Thanks in advance

Mulqueen?

Did the parents have any other children? If so, check them in case it’s clearer.

Agree, Mulqueene, possibly a variant of Mulqueeny.

Thank you both for your help.  Unfortunately I haven’t been able to identify any siblings.

I have Mary Anne’s marriage and information going forward from that but nothing earlier about her and her parents although I do think this is her birth as father’s details and place and year of birth match later records.

Thanks again
