Hi
I am looking for a Baptism for a Lucy Herbert from 1632 onwards her parents were Thomas Herbert married 16 April 1632 Knightsbridge Chapel well Lucy might have been born and baptised in the Knightsbridge Chapel but I have searched and can't find a Baptism for her. Lucy marries her first husband John Frost 9th Feb 1654 St Margarets Church Westminster I have searched the records but can only find Lucy Herbert's siblings baptised in St Margarets Church.
Lucy remarried her second husband William Herbert 16 Sept. 1669 St Michael Le Belfrey York. There children were born and baptised in St Clement Danes Church in London.
I would welcome some help in finding a Baptism record for Lucy Herbert
Thanks

Thank you for your reply and for finding Lucy's siblings which I have have also seen in St Margarets Church Parish Register. Westminster. Yes teretia could be the same person as Lucy probably why there is no Baptism record for Lucy.
I have seen that Thomas Herbert' with his wife Lucy and children were living with her parents Walter Alexander and his wife and there children Lucy's siblings in York Street Westminster in 1642.
Thank you also for mentioning you looked on Freereg and found the 5 children of Lucy Herbert and William Herbert these 5 children including twins William and Vere were all baptised in St Clement Danes Church. I descend from Vere Herbert he married Margaret Cudmore in St Margarets Church, Templeton Devon. Then I found Vere and Margaret again living in Caldicot Court House which is still there and Vere was Sherriff of Caldicot 1707 he is also noted in documents to do with his son William Herbert marriage to Winifred Scudamore daughter of Henry Scudamore of Pembridge Castle Herefordshire. Vere Herbert passed away and is named again to do with his property and lands in Caldicot in 1727 being passes to son William Herbert and shared between his sister Elizabeth who I descend from and brother Francis.
Lucy married William at St Michael Le Belfrey then must have moved to London as there children were baptised in St Clement Danes Church. Also I have found a burial for a Lucy Herbert 29 August 1739 in St Clement Danes Church this Lucy Herbert could be the daughter of Thomas Herbert and Lucy Herbert née Alexander and the wife of William Herbert and mother to 7 children baptised at St Clement Danes Church including the twins Vere Herbert bapt 1674 and William Herbert.
This all seems to fit into place this information and feels correct
Lovely to know Teretia is Lucy probably named after somewhere in Thomas travels in persia.
Thanks for all your help amazing to piece all this together.
Thanks
