Title: Details of Occupation & Death of John EDWIN & wife Sarah nee TAYLOR pls..
Post by: rbell35 on Thursday 17 July 25 10:02 BST (UK)
I am attempting to find occupational and/or death/burial details of my ancestor John EDWIN. John was baptised on 24th June, 1710 at St. Sepulchre, London, England. I believe he married a Sarah nee TAYLOR on 18th September, 1734 at Fleet, London. Their son also 'John' was born in 1738 and baptised on 6th October, 1738 at St Luke Old Street Church, Finsbury, London, England. Any details discovered is very much appreciated. Thanks. Cheers, Rob.

Can I confirm the 1738 baptism? FindMyPast has a baptism (transcript only) for a -

Given name - blank, Surname - Edwin, Bap - 6 Oct 1738, Place - Finsbury, parents John and Elizabeth.

I can see 3 baptisms (1737, 1741, 1745) to a John and Sarah Edwin but not a "John" or Finsbury.

Thanks. Yes, I confess I cannot remember where I saw the 1738 baptism. Just trying to work out the most likely entry! Cheers, Rob
