Oh No!!!

This brilliant site seems to have stopped functioning.  Does anyone know whether the information is available elsewhere?

Tks

Still there and searchable at https://www.welshmariners.org.uk/index.php.

Doesn't seem to have been updated since 2018. Hopefully it is being maintained,.

Hi Maec

Thank you so much for your prompt and helpful reply.  Working fine now!

So grateful and so relieved.

I found my chap easy peasy.

Unfortunately the gentleman who did the research, Dr Reginald Davies, has passed away.

I'm sorry to  hear that. He did us a great service by setting up the database and I hope somebody can take it over and maintain it.
In the meantime there is also Bryan Richard's database of Swansea Mariners at "www.swanseamariners.org.uk/swanseamariners.php" which has fairly comprehensive records of men and ships.

This, of course, touches on the perennial question of how we can retain and maintain useful databases once the originator has to drop out.
