Title: Transcribe a record's full details into a Source Citation?
Post by: seal_x on Monday 14 July 25 23:46 BST (UK)
If I create a Source Citation with an attached media file of the associated document (e.g. a Certified Copy of a BMD certificate), is it ever a good practice to transcribe the full details of the record into a Source Citation either as Citation Text or Citation Notes (I'm using FTM 2024)?

Any guidance on this would be appreciated before I get too far into the weeds creating Source Citations.  Thanks in advance.  Cheers!

I use an older version of FTM and always try to transcribe the full details as citation text
