Her maiden name might have been Thomas - there's a marriage in Rudbaxton parish to James Lloyd in 1814. Witnesses James Thomas and Mary Lloyd. Dorothy is otp but James is from St Martins
There's a baptism in Rudbaxton to John and Sarah in 1789 - slightly out as she was 30 when she died in 1822

Yes the Trees have her under her maiden name and on Census she is unmarried ;D
I agree you are right Nc.
-
the Dorothy who died in 1822 lived in Prendergast, which seems quite persuasive!

There is a Marriage 07 Dec 1780, St Michael, Rudbaxton;
Sarah LLEWHELLIN/John THOMAS
Witnesses Thomas DAVIES/Thomas LLEWHELIN
Bride & Groom signed with mark 'X'
(FreeREG)
I don't have access to bapts but there are a couple of JAMES THomas's born c 1786 +/- 5 years on Census who could be marriage witness and possible brother of Dorothy.

They are Dorothy's Mother and Farther my 5th Great Grand Parents
