Hi Everyone,
In my family tree I have a Charles Eady born 1816 Wissington in 1844 he was sentenced at Bury St Edmunds to 15years in Australia and in August that year he was on the William Jardine ship heading for Hobart. He left behind his wife Elizabeth Eady (nee Boutell) & three children Charles Golding Eady, George Eady & Ann Eady. In 1851 Elizabeth Eadey living in Bear Street, Nayland with sons Charles Golding Eadey & George Eadey no sign of daughter Ann. Then the next entry I can find is Elizabeth, Charles Golding & George Eady all in Australia where Elizabeth goes on and has 2 more children Elizabeth 1854 & Harriett 1857.
My question is would this be correct that Elizabeth & children followed Charles to Australia & where would I be able to find records of them going out there?
Any help much appreciated

Do you have the birth details for Elizabeth and Harriet, is Charles the father.

Thank you Rosie
I have Australian Birth index for Elizabeth Ann Eddy born 30 Sept 1854 Hobart Tasmania father Charles Eddy & mother Elizabeth Boutell. The other daughter born in Australia Harriett Boutell Eady her marriage to Thomas Austin in 1881 states she was youngest daughter of Charles Eady deceased he died in 1866 so that fits.
What I'm trying to find is records of Elizabeth Boutell Eady emigration when it was, it's sometime between 1851 & 1854 when Elizabeth was born. Elizabeth is on the English 1851 census
Thanks for your help

I think that you need to be looking at incoming records to Australia rather than outgoing ones for England :-\

Hi
Charles Eady had a Conditional Pardon 21 October 1853 So maybe Elizabeth left England sometime then.
Any idea where I would be able to find Australia's incoming records ?
Thanks for your help
