Hi,
I’m yet to create a memorial on FindAGrave for an individual, this person was “adopted” straight from birth. Basically I have a memorial for both her adoptive mother and both her biological mother, and I am wondering which one to attach as the “mother”.
She always considered adopted mother her parental figure as she never knew bio mother (died when she was a few days old) so it would feel..disrespectful to attach her biological mother in that spot? But I know it could cause confusion genealogy wise. (The context is explained in both mothers memorials).
I was adopted myself (although as teenager) and even this is causing my head to spin a bit ::)
Any insight is greatly appreciated.

For accuracy you need to put birth parents if they are known but
as you are talking about a memorial rather than a family tree I would
suggest adoptive parents would take precedence with a mention
of birth mother.
