Title: Elizabeth Durborow 1697
Post by: Slipper on Wednesday 09 July 25 10:03 BST (UK)
This is a long shot! I am researching the family of Osborne from Gloucestershire & Wiltshire, England.  In 1697, Thomas Osborne left a Will, naming his sister, Hannah Taylor, and her daughter Elizabeth Durborow.  Hannah was married to John Taylor and had other children, John, Isaac and Jacob.  The family were living in the USA.  Has anyone come across them in their research? Thank you.

Yes, have found them on my mother’s side. Please let me know what you are looking for. This is her family search page: https://www.familysearch.org/en/tree/person/details/P9VZ-3JS

Thank you so much for your reply.  Do you know the name of Hannah Taylor's father?  I assume, from the information given in the Will of her brother, Thomas, that her grandparents were Nicholas and Anne Osborne.  If so, I suspect her father was either Nicholas, John or Jasper.  I haven't been able to find a baptism record for her.
I am interested in the Osborne family of Alderton because I'm fairly certain that one of my ancestors was from this family (a brother of Nicholas, above). If I can help you with any information on this family, I'd be happy to do so.  Thank you.
