Title: Marriage of Thomas Butler of Orwell 1606 Stepney
Post by: arabrab on Tuesday 01 July 25 12:59 BST (UK)
This is part of the marriage register for St Dunstan  and All Saints Stepney. I am able to read all except the word in the second line eg A ?? daughter of the  Lady Garter.
I think the Lady Garter was the widow of Gilbert Dethick but it doesn't seem to clarify what the unknown word is.

Can anyone help me to transcribe  this ??

I think it says:

...of Popler daughter...

Although the word of is seen in a different form in the first and third lines of the clip, the one of interest is like the one at the bottom of the clip (partly truncated):

...of Thomas...
