Hi all,
I am hoping someone can help me as I am helping a friend with his family tree
I am trying to find the grave of Elsie Elizabeth McCarthy nee Roberts
Elsie died Dec 1997 in Bangor Carmarthenshire Wales and could be buried with James H McCarthy

Bangor is in Caernarfonshire - not Carmarthenshire. I have asked the moderator to move your post
Did you check for a death reg in 1997 or 1998 as I can't see one?
What was her birthyear?
Their 1948 marriage reg shows her just as Elsie. 2 children born 1949 & 1954 - are they still alive? If so - can they provide the info re burial?
When & where did her husband die?

There is an Elsie Elizabeth ROBERTS, born 12 January 1915, with death registered in Bangor, Caernarvonshire, in December 1997.

As already mentioned by Carole, When Elsie married James (Henry) McCarthy she was only showing on the index as Elsie Roberts, he is listed as James Henry McCarthy on the index on North Wales BMD. It was a Civil marriage.
That Elsie Elizabeth Roberts who died in 1997 can be found in Bangor in 1939 with a birth year of 1914
