Hi everyone,

Can anyone help me find anything out about Daniel Joseph Bradley who was born in Feeny Co Derry on the 10 August 1904 and who apparently died in 1966.

Can anyone help me find his grave or any travel information or if he was married or even a photo etc

Most likely this marriage in Victoria in 1956:

Daniel Joseph BRADLEY and Margaret Agnes McGLOIN (9541 / 1956)


There is also an earlier marriage in Victoria in 1940:

Daniel Joseph BRADLEY and Sheila Mary Patricia ANDERSON (13750 / 1940)

Sheila Patricia BRADLEY died in 1951, parents Alfred Henry ANDERSON and Ellen Veronica LESTER (8828 / 1951).

I can't immediately find immigration records, however the earliest I can see him on Electoral rolls is in 1941 (at 147 Wellington Pde, he is a rigger).

On the 1963 electoral roll he is at 141 Wellington Pde with Margaret Agnes. He is a crane driver.

Looking on Ancestry, I can see a number of trees that Daniel Joseph BRADLEY born 10 August 1904, who died in Victoria in 1966. These have his parents as Charles BRADLEY and Margaret HEANEY.  :-\

The death registered at Fitzroy, Melbourne in 1966 definitely has parents Daniel and Margaret (McCLUSKEY). Is this the man you are researching?

There is a Daniel BRADLEY aged 33 from Coolamonan, Feeny, Co Derry, farmer, going to Melbourne departed Southampton on 1 Dec 1937 on the Largs Bay.

I realise information on a death certificate is only as accurate as the informant knew, however it does seem strange that the birth record has parents Charles BRADLEY and Margaret nee HEANEY, whilst the death record has parents Daniel BRADLEY and Margaret nee McCLUSKEY.

Either one of the marriage certificates would be interesting to see who Daniel Jospeh BRADLEY names as his parents.
