Title: Albert James Farmer (Born 1889)
Post by: farmeroman on Monday 23 June 25 11:26 BST (UK)
Can anyone enhance the contrast of this faded photo of my grandfather please? He served in the RAMC in WWI and died of TB in 1930.There are only a few photos of him, mostly in uniform, and only three damaged or faded ones can be dated to after 1920. This one was taken in the back garden of his home at 8 Chester Road, Seven Kings, Essex; my grandmother continued to live in the same rented house - still without a bathroom or indoor WC - until she died in 1984.

These are really excellent. I can now see so much more detail.

Many thanks to you both.
