Look up their births on Scotlands People or look up their deaths to get their ages when they died

According to https://www.thepeerage.com/p1666.htm#i16653 John Ogilvy Arbuthnott was born on 15 September 1882 and died on 17 October 1960. A matching birth was registered in Montrose and a matching death in Arbuthnott.

Dorothy Oxley's DoB is not given but she died in 1990. A matching death was registered in Brechin in 1990, giving her age as 100 and her mother's maiden surname as Kearsley. There is a birth of a Dorothy Oxley, mother's maiden surname Kearsley, in Ripon in 1890.

Don't trust anything you find online, including www.thepeerage.com and me. Check that the foregoing is correct by viewing the orginal Scottish certificates at www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk and ordering the English birth certificate at https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/menu.asp
