Looking for Mary Jane McClelland could go under Mary J or Mary.
Left Castlerock Londonderry 1890 for Boston. should be in the census 1891.
-
Mary Jane would have missed the 191 Irish census if she went to Boston in 1890. The U.S. census was taken in 1890 but doesn't survive.
She may have stayed in Boston or gone elsewhere upon arrival, married, etc. Have you tried using Family Search for clues? Many U.S. states recorded names of parents for marriage and death certificates so you could also try searching U.S. records with those names. Exact date of birth might also help locate Mary Jane.
There was a Mary Jane McClelland born 1869 in Coleraine- parents Robert & Sarah-

The only Mary McClelland birth in Ireland in 1864 is a Mary Ann born Londonderry registration district.

You can only post a small portion of the certificate for deciphering purposes but Kiltaglassan has posted the link to the registration you found.
How do you know this registration is for Mary Jane since her name is not listed? Do you have a baptismal record, school record or other document to confirm that Mary Jane was actually born on that date? (age in a passenger manifest is not proof) otherwise she could have been born shortly before 1864 (so no birth registration) and you might have found a sibling instead.
-
thank you Kiltaglassan you have the right one.
I contacted the church and they gave me her name. I had found a Mary J leaving castle rock in 1890 for Boston but had not been able to find any thing more. I have tried to find the web site again with out any luck. Although I did see a Mary in find my past at the local library arriving 12 May 1890 Boston. I was unable to go any further with that site.

There's a Mary McClelland who went to Boston, arriving 11 May 1890. https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QV51-VSBX?lang=en The actual passenger list doesn't give any other useful information. It could be her, but it doesn't specify a middle name or initial.
-
thank you for that .I clicked on the image and the image 3399 looks more likely to be her.
-
I seam to be having difficulty in putting in an attachment. I click on attachments and nothing happens. no 3399 Mary J arrives in Boston 1882 sept 19 age 18. Familyseach have cut of half the info so I don't think the attachment would be much help any way. The census would be to late even if they were available so were can I go for any marriages?
-
As far as I know, you can't post images on Lookup boards.
Did she marry or are you just blindly searching for a marriage? Would be better to start searching for her in 1900 U.S. Census under McClelland (or variations). If you don't find a likely match (and remember that ages were often inaccurate) deaths and then marriages could be searched.
Family Search is a good staring point and there are lots of resources for other places.

That page is viewable here - https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QS7-89KZ-MHNC?view=index&cc=2304666&lang=en&groupId=
I'm not sure if there's a reason you feel strongly that the one from 1882 is her and not 1890. You're dealing with a common name, Irish immigrants from that era tended to be vague about their ages, and, unfortunately the passenger lists from that era give very little personal information. Additionally, Boston is missing some passenger lists from April 1874 to 1 Jan. 1883 due to a fire - more info here https://www.germanroots.com/boston.html - so it looks like the actual list for 1882 wouldn't be available anyway.
Is there some other information that indicated that your Mary went to Boston (or the US, in general) or was this just a Mary that fit in the time frame where you couldn't find yours?
As for marriage records, assuming that either Mary from the passenger lists is her, she could have married anywhere. Family Search has some marriage records for a lot of states, including Massachusetts, but I didn't see any likely matches with the parents' names referenced above.
-
I am just guessing that she would have married in Boston. Mary J is the eldest child in the family. Her father was Isaac. I understand that the 1900 census is unavailable. She was the first child to leave for the states.
-
The 1900 census is available. The 1890 is not, except for a few fragments from a few states, but nothing in Massachusetts.
Was her family later in Boston? Was there any later of sign of her?
-
thanks
The rest of the family didn't go to Boston. So I had the wrong census that was missing. No I haven't seen any sign of her later. Sister Margaret arrives in 1891 age 20 Philadelphia. brother William arrives in 1891 age 21 New York. Martha is found in a boarder crossing Sex: Female
