She was born in 1871 in West Hanningfield.
In 1891 a servant in Pitsea.
In 1901 in East Ham married to William Smith
In 1911 in Newport Monmouth Wales (3 year age discrepancy).
In 1939 in Pontypool (slight birthdate discrepancy).
In 1946 died in Glamorgan.
I cannot find any marriage between Louise Smith and William Smith which would appear to have been around 1891. Any help greatly appreciated.
(There was no other Louise Smith born in West Hanningfield around that time).

I think you have two different families.
For example 1901 Census
William Smith 34
Louisa 33 (not Louise)
William 9
Richard 9
Using the GRO Index that gives the mother's maiden name
William Henry Smith reg. 1891 Hackney - mmn Thorogood
Richard John Smith reg 1891 - Hackney -- mmn Thorogood they are twins
ADDED
This couple married Hackney reg 1889

A Louise Smith married Henry Thomas Humphries in 1900 at Galleywood. Father seems to be right (William Thomas)
1901 in Harlow she is 29, born West Hanningfield

1911 in Prittlewell she is 39, born West Hanningfield
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XWN3-RTS
Birth of son
HUMPHRIES, JOHN HENRY
Mother's Maiden Surname: SMITH
GRO Reference: 1901 S Quarter in EPPING Volume 04A Page 532

...and in the paper, address as 1891

Great find jonwarrn.
I think this is the family the op is following.
William Thomas Smith Farmer - born Theydon Mount married Sarah Ann Green 9 October 1867 at West Hanningfield.
Children found with mother's maiden name Green
Catherine Sophia reg 1870 Chelmsford - died 31 March 1944 spinster left a will
Louisa 1871
William Thomas 1873
Ellen 1874
Frederick George 1876
Edward John 1878
Annie Matilda 1880
Sophy 1881 born 17 June --- possible death 1882 age 1 buried Galleywood
Florence Mary 1883
Herbert 1885
Lilian 1887 died age 2 1890 buried Galleywood
it would be a good idea to get the will of Catherine Sophia Smith Probate was 6 April 1944
Reason as a spinster she is likely to have named all her brothers and sisters still living and maybe nephews and nieces

The parents William Thomas Smith and his wife Sarah Ann are also buried at Galleywood.
Ref Find A Grave
William Thomas Smith died 10 February 1916 age 75
Sarah Ann Green died 11 March 1916 age 69

The family you were following William Smith married Louisa Thorogood . There was no other Louisa Smith.
She was registered 1867 Chelmsford - Louisa Thorogood
In the census she always puts DOB as 1868

Many thanks Amondg.
I have found that Louise Humphries was in hospital and died in 1921,and husband Henry Thomas was buried in 1934 in Eastwell Essex.
The record I cannot find is Henry Thomas Humphries in the 1921 census?

If you are using FindMyPast the name is transcribed as Humpkries.
Henry 54 and son John Henry 20 are in Southend on Sea.
Same on ancestry

Thanks again amondg.
