I am optimistically searching for pictures of My Great-Great Grandparents John HARTOP & Florence Mabel nee GRAY
John appears to have lived in:
-Eaton Socon b.1878-1905,
-St. Neots 1905-1918ish (m. Florence Mabel Gray 1905)
-Sutton 1921-d.1937
He also served in Italy with the AVC / RAVC (Royal Army Veterinary Corps), 1915-1918 approx.
& Florence:
-St Neots b.1883-1921
-Sutton 1921-1939
-Northampton 1939-d.1958 (44 Palmerston Rd. with daughter Maud & son-in-law George Moore)
I've asked around by all means I can think of, libraries, post to distant relatives, and of course online - so if any relatives are out there please get in touch! I have found a picture of John's brother Ben HARTOP MM who fell in France in 1918, and a possible picture of Florence at a wedding in Northampton 1952, but nobody I have asked seems convinced.
Any help forever appreciated! :)
