Morning,
Once again I need some guidance from the group.
I need help identifying one of my Great g grandfathers wives:
Henry Hearn, DOB: 7 April 1831 born Kettleburgh Suffolk, Died 5 March 1872 Islington. He was first married to my Great g grandmother Hannah Hearn nee King DOB: 21 Sep 1828, Tetbury, Glos Died: 25 Nov 1863 Islington. They were married Islington Sep 1869. Henry owned a Taxi company operated from Keens Yard Islington.
I believe Henry then married a lady called Emma ....I dont know her surname I believe she died 19 May 1868 at keens yard, Islington I would like to know her birth surname and details of their marriage.
He then Married Jane Witham DOB: 1828/1829 Walworth Surrey. Died 3 Feb 1887 Islington London Keens Yard Islington. I have no details of her and Henry's marriage. I know Jane went on to marry a James Rowbottom.
I realise I am asking a lot from everyone who belongs to this forum. My issue is I do not want to go down the wrong road and order the wrong certificates, as it can become expensive and more importantly I do not wish to go down the wrong route and research the wrong side of the famil.
TIA Keith

BumbleB
I did check the entry and there are a couple of things wrong, firstly Emma must have been previously married to someone in the Hearn family and cannot find a connection secondly at the time of marriage Henry was not living in Hannover Square he was still living at Keens Yard Islington.
if I cannot find another connection I will purchase this marriage certificate

AlanBoyd,
Very interesting only because Henry’s first wife Hannah Hearn nee King was obviously from a King family in Glos?
Hence when BumbleB found a marriage cert for Emma Hearn and as we now know Emma King, I was thinking them was there a family connection to Emma, much to investigate.
James King obviously knew Henry because they both worked in the London cab trade as possible business men.
The plot thickens.

Thank you to BumbleB and AlanBoyd.
From your information I have managed to find out a bit more about Emma King
Spouse Robert Thomas Hearn
Father James King
Mother Rachel Wing
Children Louisa
Birth 1830 Barnet, Hertfordshire, England
Death Apr 1868 London, London, England
Residence 1851 Islington, Middlesex, England
I just have to find out about Robert Thomas Hearn and his possible link to my side of the Hearn family and my gg grandfather Henry Hearn.
This a little bit like opening up a can of worms.
Thank you
Keith

Emma married Robert Hearn
There is no Thomas on the marriage image.
The Robert Thomas Hearn that ancestry is throwing up as of interest had a father named Robert
Whereas Robert who married Emma’s father was John.

mckha489,
Thank you for the update and yes I did get the info on Robert Thomas Hearn from ancestry.
John Hearn’s run through the family tree

I know this is getting a little tenuous, but...
1841
East Soham Road, RD Kettleburgh
John Hearn, 40, ag lab and his wife Sarah, 36, with seven children including Robert, 15
Added:
Just few pages further on there is Henry Hearn, 10 with Amos, 75, and Hannah Peak, 66 [Amos dob 1766]

AlanBoyd,
You are far from tedious because you have opened up so much for me.
John Hearn Dob 1799 is my ggg grandfather and Henry Hearn’s father. Sarah Hearn nee Wythe is Henry’s mum. yes 1841 they were living at 7 Earl Soham Rd. I did not connect Robert to Henry as his brother ? so Henry must have married his brothers wife Emma.
When BumbleB and yourself began to unravel the mystery I started to think that there was a family cross over.
What things we can unravel so many years after the event
