Title: Cecil John Pearce 5th grenadier guards

trying to find war record for Cecil John Pearce born 1895 father Joseph  if is age is right from his 1916 marriage in chelsea says 5th grenadier guards resident chelsea barracks there was cecil John Pearce died 1916 france flanders but not same man any help appreciated

There are medal records for a Cecil John Pearce 16052, 2nd Grenadier Guards. 

The 1914-15 Star roll shows that he disembarked in France on 23/11/1914.

There's a January 1915 hospital record (No.4 Stationary Hospital ) showing that he was suffering from frostbitten feet. Age 20 years and 3 months.

Other than that, his records appear not to have survived. Most WW1 army records were destroyed by enemy bombing in WW2.

Was just about to type up what I found about him before ShaunJ posted

He was born Hackney 26 July 1894 Father Joseph Mother = Annie Eliza Morris who remarried to Richard Alfred Robinson 
Cecil John married March Quarter 1916 Chelsea to Ethel M Ball

cant find him on 1921 cencus and cant find a divorce odd as they both remarried

He was still serving in 1924 so his army records should have survived
