Title: Looking for Date of Birth - Baptism Darenth, St Margaret of Antioch Kent

I have a baptism date of 12th August 1821. I am looking for the date of birth for Edward Mercer
Father Thomas Mercer, mother Tryphena Penelope Mercer

Thomas and Tryphena married 1 October 1820 at Kingsdown with Mappiscombe.
Edward was the first born.
Tryphena was a widow and her 1st husband had died 9/5/1819. Her maiden name was Wells, 1st married name was Barton

Civil registration was not introduced until 1.7.1837 so no birth certs prior to that date.  Unless the actual birthdate is shown on the baptismal record there is no official way of finding it

Presumed you were quoting from the baptism record.  Where did you get the date from?

No birth date given on the Baptism entry, just the date of the baptism.

FindMyPast have access to the parish record images.  No birth date shown nor mother's forename of Tryphena, just Penelope.
